I once had T call me about a credit balance on my account. They was demanding payment or they was gonna shut off my service. I had to go to a third level before I found anyone who knew what a credit balance was.

Now an example that occured just last week. I was waiting to check out behind a woman who was buying an item that was 30% off. It took three people and a calculator to figure it out. The item was priced $14.99. They finally sold it for $10.49. About ten minutes before I told the guy with the woman that it should be $10.50. How did I figure that? 30% off means it is 70% of the original. That is .7 times 15 or $7 plus half of $7 ($3.50) 7 + 3.5 = 10.5 or $10.50. Nineth grade math. The guy looked and me and said, "That is what you said it would be". I just nodded. But then I can make change, too.
