Well, DG ... that truck is coming from a very desperate Government Motors. It can't pay off its debts to the taxpayers ... unless, of course, it borrows more money from the federal government in order to "make" that payment. It's stuck with an expensive production run of much-ballyhooed electric cars that nobody wants ... so, of course, Obama is having the federal government buy a bunch of them. It's stock price is tanking ... down to $22.16 per share of common ... and the American taxpayers need the price to be somewhere north of $51 just in order to break even on the GM stock the federal government holds from the unconstitutional nationalization action by Obama. So, DG ... Government Motors needs to sell that truck for $51,540 ... desperately! Hell, Government Motors needs to sell that truck for $100,000 ... and if the Obamas had their way, they would force you to buy one at that price, too ... just like health insurance. Rolling Eyes

A brand new GMC 3500 one ton truck is priced at $51,540.

I only paid $23,000 for the one I have, a 1995 model. There is not any inflation, is there?
