First,

I dont think you can compare Nortel and Interdigitals patents so you first point is MOOT and useless.

Second,

I am not suggesting that QCOM is going to buy Interdigital. The point that myself and others are making is that you almost seem offended that QCOM would even think of buying Interdigital. That is the POINT as I AM NOT PREDCITING THAT QCOM WILL BUY INTERDIGITAL. As for your success in QCOM and IDCC, I dont care at all. With a buyout over $100 I will make more on Interdigital than you made on both investments so it doesnt really matter. I am glad you have been successful but you have been flat out wrong about Interdigital prospects and their contributions to the industry for YEARS. That is the facts.

after the Google stalking horse bid for Nortel.....why do you suppose you didn't see Qualcomm's name mentioned in the bidding process?

Since you have the capability to rationalize business scenarios....can you think of a business reason that Q would want to outbid a Google or an Apple...or an Intel....when they've already secured their 3G and 4G licensing to the industry for the next 6 plus years? Please help me understand why some feel so adamant that Q should jump in this fray when they passed on the Nortel patents?

and JMO.....I think some are a little green that some people have been able to significantly benefit from both QCOM.... and now IDCC. I can't help you with that.

I've bolding the same long IDCC shares since Dec 2000....it's taken longer....but I obviously recognized something. Too bad it's taking an exit from the business..... to realize my delayed genius.
