Lame, as usual, clo.

"Now with regards to "unions", lets keep in mind they agreed to salaries based on their benefits, meaning they took less in their paycheck."

If these prior negotiations were adversarial, then you would have a valid argument, but you and everyone else already know that the unions were negotiating their sweetheart deals with their puppet politicians. The only people who got screwed in these "negotiations" were the Wisconsin taxpayers who had no representation in these "negotiations."

"Gov Walker did NOT campaign on breaking 'collective bargaining'."

ROTFLMAO! Ah, you leftists sure like to play your word games, now don'tcha? Walker campaigned with specific vows to cut state employee wages and benefits to help ease the tax burdens on the people of Wisconsin. Anyone with at least half-a-brain knows what that means, clo ... the traditional leftist con of "collective bargaining" between public sector unions and the politicians the unions have paid good money to elect will have to change. So, clo ... are you admitting you have less than half-a-brain, eh? What Walker and the Wisconsin legislature did was to significantly alter the one-sided monopoly historically enjoyed and abused by the unions and put things back into proper balance. The Wisconsin Democrat Party warned before the election that a Walker win could mean the end of traditional collective bargaining for public sector unions ... if they could see that from Walker's campaign promises, why couldn't you, eh? Rolling Eyes

"Apparently the state senate did NOT follow correct procedures. Hence the only way to stop the madness was for the dem's to allow the voters some time to respond to this. A judge halted the action, twice."

Total BS. The correct procedures were followed and the "judge" that halted action ridiculously exceeded her authority ... simply because of her own personal bias ... so decided the Wisconsin Supreme Court, end of story.

"...the Gov was able to avoid firing nearly 10,000 employees."

Guess what, clo ... the Wisconsin school districts avoided laying off employees, too, since the teachers were forced to pitch in a little more towards their benefits and the districts were able to renegotiate insurance contracts with competitive insurers that were not allowed under previous collective bargaining agreements. The only Wisconsin districts that actually ended up laying off some employees were the ones that forced through their collective bargaining agreements prior to the passage of the legislation. Now, most Wisconsin school districts are removing their financial red ink and not having to consider layoffs. A win-win, right? Well, not for you since you prefer that your leftist buddies retain political power no matter the cost or the financial ruin it brings on everyone else. Rolling Eyes

"...evil Koch Bros?"

BWHA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! What a joke! The Koch Brothers could stop giving money to Conservative causes, tomorrow, and everything would keep right on going without a hitch. Too bad you can't say the same thing about the critical life support George Soros provides to the Democrat Party, eh, clo? You certainly like to scream about your strawmen, the Koch brothers, but I never hear you complaining about George Soros ... why is that, clo? ROTFLMAO at lil' ol' hypocritical you!

Cheers!

B.
