Hi CF, I wouldn't object even if they passed it on as part of their commission schedule. Say $.001/shr rounded up to nearest penny. $.10 on a 100 shr lot regardless of shr price. $1.00 per $1000 bond. It would raise a bundle and go unnoticed by the average investor. Well, unlikely to get traction, but I like it.

Hi tkc,

This one has been discussed for some time. The US resists it. Wall Street hates it. But it appears to make some sense if the financial firms pay the price rather than simply passing most of it along.
