Nokia, Qualcomm May Bid For InterDigital -ReutersLast update: 8/17/2011 1:53:29 PMDOW JONES NEWSWIRES Nokia Corp. (NOK) and Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM) are among several technology companies considering bids for InterDigital Inc. (IDCC), the auction for which will be postponed from next week to after Labor Day, Reuters reported Wednesday citing sources familiar with the situation. Other companies reportedly interested in the wireless telecommunications specialist, which holds a portfolio of about 8,800 patents, include Google Inc., Samsung Electronics Co. (SSNHY) and Apple Inc. (AAPL). InterDigital declined to comment, while the other potential bidders weren't immediately available for comment, according to Reuters.
