Where have the Anti-War Protesters Gone?
… have you retired, now that your candidate has won? Were you really protesting a President, rather than a policy? Are you placated, now that Obama promises something, but has made no steps to actually remove a single troop from the “war zone”? Am I being too critical, supposing that you were hypocritical and two-faced? Maybe you were fair-weather protesters, just showing up when the temperature was in the double-digits?
I think you’ve shown your cards and exposed your true agenda, which was to oust an administration you didn’t like. I don’t think you truly give a damn if it now takes years for Obama to do what Bush was already starting to do. If I may plea, let me ask you to please hold this guy accountable, too
but I respect your right to protest. I just don’t respect you, if you are playing partisan politics and now choose to gloat and sit at home in front of your television, worshiping your new chosen one. At least be consistent, pick up a protest sign and head out to the Steakhouse parking lot.
