Hi tkc,

FYI, I think you may be undervaluing the scale of the long-run opportunity and concentrating a little much on cosmetic and/or temporary issues at present. Maybe you have too much exposure to relentless negativity!

If people's thinking shifts in favour of TC, there's no one else offering the shape of service Wave does, for all the claims elsewhere that it is so. There are folks with product cross-overs and legacy clientele, of course. But these could get swept away fairly easily in the event of a flood of trust denominated in hardware.

Also, try thinking a bit harder about the opportunity in the mobile space, and maybe reading back in the history about Wave's trust assurance network. I believe the MS-Nokia alliance is building products on top of an MTM architecture. Wave's TAN can power the distribution of trusted applets. Not sure what business model prevails, but monetizing the opportunity should be straightforward one way or another.

The tale of subsumption by Intel tends to disregard the fact that Intel is not going to provide a service model which functions atop an ARM mobile platform. TPM isn't a PC-space business. It applies to all sorts of equipment.
