I just took a 3x position in PPLT (platinum), at 170.59/share.
I'm not sure, but that could be the most expensive stock I've ever owned. I once bought Apple, but it was $109, and I sold it at $130.
I've talked about buying BKH/B, but never did.
Anyway, gold and platinum are at PARITY. That's too good an opportunity to let slip away.
From my perspective, platinum is a pretty good way of protecting myself. It doesn't have the glamour or money history that gold does, but it's hard to deny that it is underpriced.
I expect platinum to be $2,000+ before the year is up. I'm sure I'm not the only one taking note of how its price compares with gold's.
