Why is this simple concept SO IMPOSSIBLE for
so many folks to understand?

Some folks is just stoopid. There used to be a couple who lived nearby who was borrowing money every summer to go on a vacation and they were financing the loan for three years. They was telling me about their upcoming vacation and I decided to help em out by pointing out that they couldn't afford it. It took several hours and a reem of paper but they finally got it. The next week I happened to be going by their house and there was a furniture truck unloading new furniture into the house. They had bought it with the money they "saved" by not taking a vacation.

The whole problem is that most folks want what they want when they want it (a quote from obama) and they want to pay for it later, or better yet, they want somebody else to pay for it later. It's the instant gratification crowd with no willingness to make a sacrifice to achieve their goals that is the problem. They want to go to college "NOW" They can't go part time and work, they gotta have a gubmint loan. They want a new houwe "NOW" and they don't want to save up a down payment of 20 percent. They want to retire "NOW" and dont want to save a frickin dime for anything. When these same people arrive at their unavoidable destination of failure, it's always the fault of "The Rich" who put off gratification in order to build something.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

Beldin> Tax revenue isn't the problem - completely bat-shit crazy, out-of-control spending IS the problem and everybody knows it. B.
