Hi cat,

I agree that we are resuming the 2008 depression. I disagree with the rest. The stimulus was less than $1tn and I think it should have been substantially more. Growth is the only viable solution absent the possibility of a bit of inflation. Austerity is doom. I think this is what the market is indicating. The rest of a lost decade is upon us and the US government is not capable of providing the fiscal support necessary to the economy.

What happened to your hyperinflation?

Hi Cactus:

Perhaps we should be looking at the reasons for the downgrade as opposed to the downgrade itself.

Some of us simply see an end to the stimulus-induced recovery and the resumption of the 2008 depression, since Obama, the Fed, and the Treasury have squandered trillions rewarding corruption and promoting uselessness and idleness.
