I agree, we are in unchartered waters.
IMO, gold IS enjoying this situation. Yet I still believe its in a bubble for this reason.

FYI, I don't hoard jewelry for sentimental reasons, (if that was your thought) I treasure/hoard handmade gifts.
The gold will be an asset I can use, if need be.
Or I will leave it to the children. clo

Maybe a better question:

Have you seen the light yet about gold?

Yes, I know about your jewelry - but I suspect you "hoard" it for a somewhat different reason than anticipation of a dollar collapse.

You've said many times that you agree with Zimbler, that gold is in a bubble. Is it beginning to 'click' in your mind, though, that maybe there really is a problem with the dollar unlike that which Americans have previously seen? And that gold is the most obvious hedge against such?

Just wondering...
