You'll be missed, fizzy. I hope you'll at least read this forum occasionally and drop me a line. As you said, there is a considerable amount of knowledge gathered on ROUND. You deserve credit for a big part of that, but I think you may find yourself spending more time now reading better known news sites for the kind of material you can already get here.

So, keep reading even if you don't post. And if you're ever inclined to respond, I hope you'll do so under a different name. No need to feel that you've burned a bridge just because you said 'goodbye.'

All your old posts on AB - and everyone else's too - were deleted as of . . . April, I think, when most of this site was cleared. So only your newer posts remain. I don't think you've said anything too damaging in the time since.

A few weeks ago I said I would be retiring soon from the board. I think I've said about all I can say which is constructive. I've seen a considerable evolution of thinking here, made some great associations, and I've been educated on many issues.

It's time for me to focus more on becoming a better, more self reliant and less argumentative man. I enjoy this board and the people here but I need to write less and do more...hopefully a substantial reinvention of myself will be one outcome.

Thanks to everyone and, especially, De and Bob.

Bob: If it is possible, please delete all my old posts?
