Hi Micro. If you had a choice between working 80 hours per week to earn four percent on your money in your own company or doing nothing and earning 5% by collecting interest and dividends, which would you do? If you chose the five percent then KTC will say you are just mean and nasty for not creating jobs. I never have understood why people like him cannot seem to grasp simple things. Of course, I am sure that he actually believes that most businesses earn 80% after expenses.

SirSnapits,
I think empty heads may be more appropriate than "empty house".

Did you notice that there was not any dollars or cents offered in response.

I have worked in my lifetime from the least position one could have in a company to the highest level and in between.

I have worked in multiple industries from Aero Space to furniture to Machine Tools to Security equipment.

Again, as one who is ultimately responsible for keeping my doors open and people working, I want to make sure I am not being one of those mean nasty employers who simply abuse working people, the notion and mis-representation usually given by the left.

Funny thing is, they don't have any answers and zero real world experience. They believe every employer has an oil pool pr gold mine under his business and of course the employer is simply HOARDING and depriving the workers.
Most of these types have no clue what an employer pays on their behalf or the basic costs to stay in business so they can have a job. If they don;t like the pay and benefits, this is America for a short time yet, so they can quit and go elsewhere. Obama has done such a great job of making sure the economy is thriving and an overabundance of jobs for people.

I'm still waiting for an answer and the rationale behind it ut I am not holding my breath.
SAIEW. Hot air and nothing to back it up.

Unionism has been ONE of a few major reasons the employers are in big trouble today, Also a reason why they go offshore and over seas and I don't blame them.
Speaking of overseas, that is OUR competition as well.

ARE THEY being PAID what we are paying our people?

No?

Do they have the outrageous pension plans that have already driven one feel good TOWN into total bankruptcy this past week and threaten many more cities and entire states? New Jersey, New York city, State of New York, Ohio, Wisconsin,Illinois all come to mind here.

Notice ALL the PENSION PLANS that are really in deep doo doo belong to UNIONS?????

I just can't imagine why.
Must be the fault of George Bush or those mean non-union corporations whose pension plans ARE NOT in trouble because they have a little common sense when it comes to EXPENSE and money management.

Thanks for chiming in.

WHAT is wrong with the economy is GREED and that began with and at the UNIONS, some of Corporate America, but NOT the part that employs over 90 percent, the small business sector.

This is another factoid most libs miss completely because they don't know the facts, they just like to spew worthless tripe.

Don;t get sucked in by it.

DGP says it pretty well.

How one spends their money is strictly up to the choices THEY make. Sometimes if you want one thing you must wait till later for something else.

I must be off!

Later,

micro...
