ktc,

re: "Trashing the NY Times is a primary principle in every one of one."

Thanks for sharing. However, it doesn't make any sense to me that these "Neocon websites" would be out to get the New York Times the way they are unless they did indeed see it as a major source of LIBERAL propaganda.

It also makes no sense that a newspaper that wants to appear impartial does nothing to counter the highly liberal image it has. Keep Krugman, but hire someone to counter his views. Or, as fizzy just said, launch a major investigation of corruption in the White House. Or an analysis of what the nation is getting from government today and how it compares to the 1970s - both in terms of services and cost.

That wouldn't be too difficult.

The NYT does not seem to have any motivation to do this, though. Pretty strange - unless, that is, the assessments of the Neocon websites are right.

DE:

"Hundreds of other sources". There are many hundreds of Neocon websites who parrot the same garbage in order to saturate (It's all over the News) and mislead (Tax cuts for rich folks are good) their feebleminded winger audience. Trashing the NY Times is a primary principle in every one of one.

As America is dumbed down, the middleclass is decimated, and the internet becomes ubiquitous, serious newspaper readership is plunging. Long Live Faux Nooz, People Magazine, and AmericanThunker.com.
