Wouldn't that do it? They could even stick in a "may" or two, for the sake of legal protection and PC.

But we both know that finding evidence of massive, massive corruption would be both easy and directly in the duty of a REAL NEWSPAPER.

Do I misremember or didn't the NYT take some leadership on calling out the last President on the Iraq war?

NYT could dispell 2 rumors at the same time with ONE action: begin a REAL investigatory news campaign on Obama, Banking, and corruption! If they can't get Krugman to be objective they could hire someone who would bring that "just the facts" approach. But they, notably, don't.

it's almost as if they are owned by they are captured ... Or too dumb to live.
