NYT could dispell 2 rumors at the same time with ONE action: begin a REAL investigatory news campaign on Obama, Banking, and corruption! If they can't get Krugman to be objective they could hire someone who would bring that "just the facts" approach. But they, notably, don't.

it's almost as if they are owned by they are captured ... Or too dumb to live.

"Hundreds of other sources". There are many hundreds of Neocon websites who parrot the same garbage in order to saturate (It's all over the News) and mislead (Tax cuts for rich folks are good) their feebleminded winger audience. Trashing the NY Times is a primary principle in every one of one.

As America is dumbed down, the middleclass is decimated, and the internet becomes ubiquitous, serious newspaper readership is plunging. Long Live Faux Nooz, People Magazine, and AmericanThunker.com.
