I hesitated to use the word 'innocent' but could think of nothing better. Was I 'innocent' in selling all that real estate in 2003? All I can say is I didn't choose nor cause nor want the bubbles. But innocent?

Still I think my comment has merit. The businesses lost, the savings lost, the entrepreneurial creations lost, the bureaucratic inefficiencies ADDED are the legacy of what has been done. The legacy goes on and on. Nothing even seems learned. Such horrific waste.

I have come to realize that men are not born to be free. Liberty is a need felt by a small class of people whom nature has endowed with nobler minds than the mass of men. -Napoleon

re: "The worst thing about what our government is doing is that it is precluding and destroying real dreams and real lives OF THOSE WHO ARE INNOCENT."

There are mighty few of us who are innocent, fizzy. I'm certainly not. Children. And the feeble minded. That's about it.

We should have been organizing protests, both peaceful and otherwise, starting about 20 years ago and continuing today. Some of us are patriots at heart who are guilty of failing to remain vigilent. The rest are traitors.
