Jan 7 (Reuters) - Poland's public debt in relation to gross domestic product (GDP) will not rise this year and may even fall below the level reached in 2010, the finance minister Jacek Rostowski said on Friday.
Previously the finance ministry forecast that public debt stood at below 53.5 percent of GDP at the end of 2010.
"Thanks to those measures that we have undertaken... this ratio (public debt to GDP) will stop rising already this year (and) will probably start falling," Rostowski told Polsat News TV station in an interview. (Reporting by Kuba Jaworowski)
