I suppose that during the years of measuring the company via their licensing of technology (everything up to 2 weeks ago).....my own and most other's expectations were not met....not sure we need to look back through those various points....but I was riding along with you. Were your expectations met? Do you think that somehow my participating on the message boards and providing insight to the industry and the changing landscape of licensing from an NPE perspective somehow kept the share price down...or made the stock bounce through wild swings all those years? No. I didn't think so. My expectations were always in the middle based upon reality. Glad you neither bought or sold based on anything I posted. Multiple others have thanked me for my perspectives through the years, and others have relayed to me that they wished they had listened...after pissing away their investment through their option plays.

Did the stock ever hit NJ's 80 based on the licensing business? No, I didn't think so. Do I have a problem with certain individuals that set out of line expectations based on factually inaccurate information on the boards? yup.....and I guess I'm a bit distrustful of some of those that have communication with hedge funds and other investment entities to play short term option swings.

We're now in a new phase in a whole new "world" H48.....and you can be sure that I have not mentioned my expectations for a price to buy the company or it's assets....but what I have done is state that this new phase is filled with a lot of due diligence....both by our company and any potential acquirer. I've also stated that in my opinion....this phase will take some time to accomplish and involve analysis of the portfolio... applications.... work projects in standards....special projects for the future roadmap.... and the company's past and current litigations and licenses.

As I have stated....I am holding "my" shares with the expectation of a continued rise.....and hoping we'll get some real news that I can base future investment choices on. I do count on certain individuals on these boards to help guide some of those choices for me.....and I agree that teecee is one of them.

A question for you and all the Qcommies (Count, Net, Richbloem etc) although yes, I know you won't speak for the others..
Why are you always minimizing the potentiaql of IDCC? When it was in the 20's, somehow 35 was a magical number. Then it hit the mid 30's and when the 50's was floated as a potential, you were telling everyone to keep expectations in check. Then it hit 50's. When NukeJohn floated 80, you really questioned that one as in people are making "WAG's, floating numbers out there, keep expectations in check, you know the industry" yada yada. Then it hit 80 last week or so. Now people are floating higher numbers and you're back at it, saving everyone from themselves....even though you're in "HR" as you put it...
Whats so threatening to you and the Qcommies should IDCC hit its true potential???
By the way, had I listened to the likes of you guys/so called experts, I woulda been outa IDCC at at around 35. Thank goodness for Teecee and the people on this board!
