clo,

re: 'I might NOT vote for a "president", many other democrats might do the same.'

Oh, clo. You're too funny! I predict you will vote for Obummer again. And so will nearly all of the other die hard liberals. Your "club's" chances of retaining the coveted President's Cup go down greatly if you don't, after all.

I only wish there was a way I could put some serious money on my prediction.

Once liberals see who the Republicans nominate - it doesn't matter who - their side will trump up all sorts of allegations about the candidate: Divorce, pedophilia, horns budding beneath his (or her) hair... not to mention how some poor unborn babies in Detroit won't get their opportunity to be put down cleanly unless Obummer continues to lend a helping forcep. Jon Stewart will do his best to make the nominee look like a bumbling idiot, and Paul Krugman will tell us all how Obummer will do so much better of a job growing the debt... uh, MANAGING THE ECONOMY, I mean... than the Republican. (Because Paul Krugman's recommendations have been SOOO good for the economy so far. So he knows.)

You'll come up with reasons to help your club win. In 14 months, you'll have concluded that there isn't any other option.

THE OTHER CLUB MUST NOT WIN!!!

Repeat that 5,000 times and these evil thoughts of abandoning Obummer will be flushed from your mind.

Decomp,

I would NOT vote for a republican. They don't need more "dead wood" added to their fire.
I might NOT vote for a "president", many other democrats might do the same. After all, Obama has behaved more like a republican, caving to most of their demands. He has taken his base for granted, at his peril at this point.
I was FURIOUS when he extended the Bush tax cuts in December, FURIOUS! And once again, this piece of garbage doesn't have a "balanced approach".
I think a republican president would have thrown us a bone, just to look fair...

I was having dinner Saturday night with my 2 sisters & their husbands. All were Hillary supporters & all voted for Obama.
NONE of us are happy with Obama's "leadership".
The only family member still supporting him, my mom. She called me last night after Obama made his pronouncement, all excited.
I had missed it, but retorted, he sold us out AGAIN.
She said she'd talk to me tomorrow, since that wasn't what she wanted to hear.

As for the House, Nancy will have trouble getting Progressives & the Black Caucus votes.
I'm certain she is NOT pleased having to carry Obama's water, AGAIN!
Democrats will put Country above their anger & help Boehner get this passed.
Most of his tea baggers will be able to look "pure" & NOT vote for it, because of the Democrats help....
It's VERY depressing. clo
