As I like to ask: "What are they 'conserving'?"
I'd love to get McCain, by surprise, under open mic and ask him... "So, Senator, what are you conserving?"
To which, I'm sure, he'd rattle off Mom and Apple pie things like ... American 'Honor'.
To which I'd go back again and again. "Anything else, Senator?"
Notably he can't credibly claim to be conserving money, nor freedom, nor energy, nor even the natural environment. Indeed, NOTHING which most people would positively associate with the meaning, "building up a store of by using less of", could McInsane claim as his own.
It was a big disappointment that this guy wasn't bumped off in the last election. I think he would have been except for the efforts of that other fountain of perfidy: Sarah Palin.
