This is up near the top of the list of DemoPublican Propaganda ploys.

The trick/logic-befuddlement itself is so often used that we need to keep ourselves, and teach our children, to forever be watching out for it: SUBSTITUTE ONE WORD FOR ANOTHER.

A second technique, almost indistinguishable and absolutely a kissing cousin, is: SUBSTITUTE ONE *MEANING* FOR ANOTHER. The example of "inflation" is a great one and it has been so successful.

Only in America would a politician talk as though reducing the rate of collapse is a victory.

It's not the DEFICIT that needs reducing, Dim Bulb. It's the DEBT.
