My view on this is would you expect things to change the day you raised the limit on your credit card? The answer is no. Barring the the media and political drama, there will be no immediate effect. Only the long term effect of the continual erosion of our worth and our children's future and freedoms.
but how do you think the debt ceiling games washington is playing will affect the market (and ultimately idcc) when it is time for showdown and all the players just sit there and refuse to turn over their cards?
i'm getting antsy with the market reacting and getting visions of that 2008 meltdown along with that flash trading we saw not so long ago and actually considering selling a big chunk of my holding on friday if no deal is reached.
