Hi CF. For that very reason I'll bet right now that the tea party will lose seats next November. I think Independent voters have already seen the damage this group has/could do.

I agree. But even when the Democrats had the House, he took soft positions in order to win deals.

I won't repeat my constitutional argument, as everyone knows it. Needless to say, a House that hates government expenditure of almost any type and that is capable, via its powers, of preventing necessary action seems to me to make for a disfunctional government.
