Hi clo,

I agree. But even when the Democrats had the House, he took soft positions in order to win deals.

I won't repeat my constitutional argument, as everyone knows it. Needless to say, a House that hates government expenditure of almost any type and that is capable, via its powers, of preventing necessary action seems to me to make for a disfunctional government.

IMO, Obama's difficulty, his opposition REFUSES to "compromise".

And they wear their belligerence as a badge of honor...

Their mantra, keep cutting taxes for big business & the wealthy. "Trickle Down", which never worked, is their answer for the economy.

They forgot, the reason they are in office is because they promised "jobs" would be their top priority.
Instead, from the beginning they have made abortion & womens rights their target. clo
