LG and the other infringers have a choice.

Sign now with a clause allowing the agreed upon rates to be valid and transfer to any future acquirers or they can wait and negotiate with whoever the new owner is ... not knowing who and what they may be asking.

I think they should take door number 1 and not get stuck with the donkey pulling the Pinto.

LG and the others must be sick this morning. IMO, no licenses can be signed during this review process as any potential purchaser might want a different rate than is currently being offered for LTE. LG now has to stand in line waiting for the outcome. Maybe the patents go to Paul Allen and he asks for 3X the rate for the same patents? Any sale will also include a premium to the value, say Google is willing to pay IMO as Nokia owes almost $1B in past and near term royalties. Nokia will be willing to pay more because of this "credit" they have with Interdigital imo.
