Rupert Murdoch appears to be suggesting that he was not aware that News Corp, over the last several years, has paid out $655 million to settle claims of phone hacking and invasion of privacy. How could he possibly have not been aware of payouts of this magnitude? Is it possible that we are seeing him maneuvering to where he will throw to someone under the bus, perhaps his own son, claiming that this was all done behind his back.
