re: "Safe travels, its toasty up here."
Same here. It will be 96 in Virginia today, and 99 both Wednesday and Thursday. We probably have higher humidity than you do, too.
Looks like New England has a couple of hot days, but then balmy, Spring-like weather with occasional thunderstorms over the next week. I'm looking forward to it!
I just bought a tractor and a bunch of accessories, so I'm looking forward to (1) seeing and driving it... hopefully without killing myself, and (2) getting some work done that's been almost impossible to do by hand. (Mostly dealing with with moving fallen trees and branches. Quite a few have accumulated in the . . . seven years I think . . . that I've had the land.)
I'm sure I'm in for a letdown on the larger parcel, but I can't help but feel excited about this trip. If the "land" isn't a giant bog, or located atop a mountain with no reasonable means of gaining access to it - esp. in the winter, and if it has no serious liens or other legal issues (my current property had a lien on it, but it was no big deal. I hired a lawyer and paid it off) then odds are good I'll be buying.
