Cleaning Out My Drawers!
The ones in my desk, not the one's I wear. The ones I wear aren't due for a cleaning for a couple of days yet.
Most of us guys come home from time to time with an assortment of crap in our pockets that we don't know what to do with so we put it in a desk drawer somewhere and forget about it. My desk has become so full of crap that I can hardly get the drawers shut, so I decided to clean em out a bit. Some of the things I found were amazing. Others were just interesting and some made me wonder WTF is this and why did I keep it?
There was 43 keys and I don't know what any of em fit. There is a padlock in there (never used) that has no key and none of the 43 keys aforementioned fits it.
There was about a pound of Velcro stuff, but it was all the same side. Apparently I used all the fuzzy side and none of the other side. I don't know how I made that work.
About a hundred screws that were left over when I took something apart or put something back together. Maybe both. I always have parts left over when I put stuff back together. When I worked for the phone company they said that if I took a telephone apart and put it back together enough times, I would have two of em.
One of the little slots in the tray in the front of the drawer was full of toe nail clippings (Waste not want not!)
Oh yeah, I had about a dozen american flag lapel pins. I sent one to obama. Apparently he don't have any.
