What's up with Clorox? CLX's share price ratcheted
up from $68.12 last week - to $74.55 this week.
Rumor has it that Carl Icahn wants to buy it . .
Personally I think the thieving skunk just wants
to drive the price up so's he can sell at an obscene
profit. In the meantime, I got a sweet looking
un-realized capital gain - unless Icahn does 'Buy'
the whole enchilada and I get 'bought out' . . .
(Then I'll have a real capital gain to claim on my
income tax.)
In other news, Heinz increased the dividend (again).
Look like about 6% to me. A pleasant surprise.
