You say I'm funny??? Why?

Perhaps you didn't understand the article.

16% isn't the percent who are satisfied WITH the Democrats (versus 9% for the Republicans.) It is the percent of Democrats, 16% (or Republicans, 9%) who are satisfied with the way things are going. Period.

So, given that this is under Democratic leadership, it isn't at all surprising or particularly funny that only 9 percent of Republicans are content with how things are going. It's hilarious though that after 2.5 years of Obommunism, just 16% percent of DEMOCRATS think things are okay.

Forget the Independents. It looks more and more as if even the Democrats will be voting Republican in 2012.

The new poll was conducted July 7-10 as Congress and Obama were engaged in heated negotiations over a bill to raise the nation's debt ceiling.

Satisfaction fell four percentage points just in the last month, from 20% in June. Among party groups, Democrats' satisfaction has dropped the most, from 35% to 25%. Independents' satisfaction in June and July was fairly steady at 17% and 14%,

respectively, and Republicans' was unchanged at 9%.
