I always wondered by Ron Paul usually uses his time to give long speeches cloaked as questions. I think it is around 2:45 where he is asked why he can't extract better answers from Bernanke and he explains that under House Rules he has no subpoena power and Bernanke could just refuse to show up.

So...one of my minor bothers about Ron Paul not attacking more aggressively has an excellent answer.

We are SO hosed.

I have come to realize that men are not born to be free. Liberty is a need felt by a small class of people whom nature has endowed with nobler minds than the mass of men. -Napoleon
