I think Nokia management must have said something similar about themselves a few years back. This industry is very fluid. Licensing fees on android phones being paid to microsoft are not a theory but a fact. I am guessing that microsoft has their own os licensing fees in mind in their strategy.
yes....that's the theory...but i'm starting to think the android ecosysytem is such a force that the licensing tolls won't slow it down a bit...ergo, will google really make an effort to play the patent game....we'll see....not doubting the nortel auction was good for us....just thinking android is a steamroller with or without idcc's patents used for defense...
