It's becoming very obvious that the GOP leadership is being driven by an unbridled hatred of Obama. They're on the verge of destroying America all because they cannot accept the idea than ANY sort of deal will be perceived by the public as something which Obama played a role in getting accomplished. It's pathetic that we've reached the point where giving the other side even a morsel of what they asked for is unacceptable because it would mean that you had to at least compromise to that extent. The GOP has said that it's all-or-nothing knowing that Obama, being a decent and caring person, will NOT allow the government to default since he knows that this would hurt the poor and middle class more than the rich and powerful. Of course, the Republicans are willing to let the country go into the crapper FOR THE EXACT SAME REASON!!!!

Well, I see no point in further capitulating, put the blame right there where it belongs, Obama OK'd cuts that matched a prior Repug proposal and they refused it, They want nothing more than to stop him at any cost. The old racist geezers on top of the crazy teabaggers.. A strange incest they have going.
