Republicans will actually look principled, Clo; except, perhaps, to those who have no principles or logic.

Let me give you an extreme but apropos example to demonstrate the absurdity of your assertion so that even you can get it:

If I kidnap your grandson or granddaughter and force them into a life of prostitution, would they look "foolish" if they refused a "deal" wherein they would be allowed to turn down one trick a week in return for "voluntarily" agreeing to accommodate 6x7-1 Johns a week? Do you understand the logical absurdity in your proposal? Clo...you REALLY, REALLY could benefit enormously from undertaking the study of formal logic as a hobby. The logical and polemic utter nonsense which passes through you day after day is astonishing. I trust you have a good heart but "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" when it is divorced from knowledge and logic. You are vastly ignorant of an awful lot of basics and you COULD improve yourself with a regimen of self improvement... but nobody can do that work for you, not even me.

And I am going to be retiring from this board shortly.
