...while I generally support gun rights, I think that whoever owns the airline should be able to tell ya whether or not ya can bring a gun on board. It's their airplane and they are responsible for the safety of all aboard. I also believe business owners should be able to ban guns from their place of business. An individual may have the right to bear arms, but if they can ban somebody from their establishment for not having on a shirt or shoes, then they should be able to ban em for carrying a gun. The right of an individual to carry a gun does not supercede the right of a business owner to determine who he will or will not do business with.
...further, I believe that carrying a weapon under the influence of alcohol or drugs should be treated as seriously as drinking and driving. A weapon is a serious responsibility.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
