...no, I don't approve of welfare. On the other hand, I am smart enough to know that corporations don't pay taxes, they collect em. Taxes are just an expense associated with doing business. They pass those costs right on to the consumers.
...I know you have been pumped full on the huge profits the Oil Industry is making. Thing is they are making most of it overseas. They are barely breaking even here. If I was running one of the oil companies, I would simply close operations here and they raised my taxes, I would simply close operations and lay everybody off. See if congress can legislate some gasoline into the pumps.
