fizzy,

The jury was a blend of ages & careers, mothers, fathers, grandparent, singles, at least one nurse, an IT guy, different races.

They were very upset while deliberating, most cried, as one said. Their verdict was not meant to say they thought Casey was "innocent", but the state did NOT prove BEYOND a reasonable doubt that Caylee was murdered.

They did their job & followed the law. clo

"Do you REALLY think it's reasonable to conclude that she wasn't murdered? Or even might not have been?"

De, I didn't say that, either. What I'm curious about (and forgive me if you already covered this and I missed it...please just send me the link...) is WHY THE JURY CONCLUDED, APPARENTLY PRETTY EASILY, THAT SHE WASN'T GUILTY "BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT"? I have no idea why they had "reasonable doubt" ... I haven't followed the story. But this wasn't a case like the O.J. was it? Was the jury packed with young, single mothers who really liked to party or something??

Perhaps I ought to just keep my yap shut on this case as I REALLY haven't been following it very carefully. I'm aware that some jurors can be oddballs but the ENTIRE jury?? Can't we give them some credit for some thoughtfulness and maybe suppose they got some evidence to support their conclusion of reasonable doubt?
