...it's the spending kiddo. Ya can't raise taxes high enough to cover the current level of spending. 90 percent wouldn't do it.

I had to go back & look ;))

So, the next question is why didn't GWB tax cuts & Obama's extensions of them "create" the economic atmosphere as the tax hikes of Reagan & Clinton? clo

• Republicans insist that tax cuts create jobs and hikes destroy them. So why did the economy boom after Ronald Reagan raised taxes in 1983 and Clinton raised them in 1993, and do the opposite after Bush cut taxes in 2001 and 2003? Taxes are just one factor in a complex economy.
