When I worked for Levines many, many years ago, we got in a transistor radio phonograph that was supposed to be $9.99. We marked them $19.99 and sold them faster than we could get them. The home office found out and got upset. We had to sell the rest for $9.99. The same home office that forced us to sell short sleve shirts every year which always got marked down and shipped to El Paso.
