Friday should have been the event that propelled this stock into the 50's and beyond that even still. But us longs wait, again.
Why it stopped before 48 is simply because the charts said this was a resistance point and the traders of this stock (who are many) used it and now use the convenient narrative that that Friday event has little and/or unknown correlation to InterDigital's valuation. Which is absurd.
The consortium bought the Nortel patents primarily for the LTE part and bid it up to $4.5 billion. To raise doubt that the LTE is a much smaller portion is like the equivalent of saying facebook's $70 billion value is not because of the social media aspect but because it gives people access to play farmville.
Those cures you list are sledgehammer events. Friday should have been a 20 lb hammer, heck major investment house coverage should have been too ... what i'm just trying to convey is that I want to see those who routinely trade this stock, short this stock, play options and post around expiration dates ... I want to see them take the next sledgehammer moment right in the gut.
