GM ma'am!

I noticed there was a microcenter for LongIsland area in NewYork.

Did you see if there was a store anywhere within say thirty miles of yourself?

Those Inland keyboards and mice really work very nicely. I keep spares in my house and my offices. Less than 6.99 each.

They have the same tactile feel as the Logitech. There isn't anything sacred about a Microsoft keyboard other than the NAME and you get the pleasure of paying for that.

Oh, almost forgot what I was going o tell you. I suggest that you have at least ONE PS2 (that's a purple colored round connector) on the keyboard because SHOULD you ever need to install an operating system from BOOT UP, you will need a PS2 keyboard,

I would not get hung up with a USB keyboard connection. WHY? Because you can still unplug and plug back in "HOT" a PS2 board just like you can a USB one. In other words, you could physically unplug your keyboard, use it on another computer, and unplug it again and plug back into the main one.
You do not need to turn off the computer to do so.

There isn't ANY advantahe I can see for the USB connection versus the PS2 other than the BIOS won;t recognize the USB one in the initial boot up out of the bios.

This isn't meant to dazzle only just good practice that not many are aware of.

Hope this may help next time you are in the market!

the best,

micro...
