...government authority is supposed to come from the consent of the governed. That means folks are supposed to be able to say "NO!" once in awhile.

Have you no concept of what the Constitution says?

I'm pretty sure there is one of the amendments saying
that anything not laid out in the Constitution as a
power or responsibility of the federal, is the
province of the State.

Nowhere in the Constitution does it say the federal
is responsible for our health care.

To-wit - while I find it legal and even Constitutional
for the state of massachusettes to require everybody
in massachusettes to buy health insurance . . . .
I find it apallingly Un-Constitutional for the federal
government to make such a requirement.
