Clo,
Have you no concept of what the Constitution says?

I'm pretty sure there is one of the amendments saying
that anything not laid out in the Constitution as a
power or responsibility of the federal, is the
province of the State.

Nowhere in the Constitution does it say the federal
is responsible for our health care.

To-wit - while I find it legal and even Constitutional
for the state of massachusettes to require everybody
in massachusettes to buy health insurance . . . .
I find it apallingly Un-Constitutional for the federal
government to make such a requirement.

Zim.

6th Circut Court of Appeals mandated heathcare is valid exercise

A panel of judges for the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that the health reform law's mandate that everyone buy insurance is "a valid exercise of Congress's authority under the Commerce Clause." The decision came in the lawsuit filed against the Affordable Care Act by the Thomas More Law Center. It is the first time a federal Court of Appeals has ruled on the constitutionality of President Barack Obama's signature legislative achievement.
