I took liberty to change the author's title of his article to make it more accurate. He says "WEALTHY" "ARE ON STRIKE" but, obviously, the majority of American super wealthy are NOT on strike: the majority (apologies to Steve Jobs and his ilk) are speculators and, most accurately, Fascists (they are in bed with government in one way or another) and they are not on strike: they are busy looting while the looting is good.
The small business owners the author really talks about are generally NOT "wealthy". It is LESS accurate to lump those who make $100k-$1,000k a year in ORDINARY INCOME with the likes of Soros, Paulson, Buffett, etc. than to lump them with those who are barely getting by on $40K. But this conflation serves the beasts in government and the beltway quite well. They have got the majority of sheeple bleating about ordinary income taxes and completely ignoring the capital gains and those, such as google, who don't even pay THAT (google made a DEAL with the Bush and Obama's administration to only be taxed at 4%).
This is conflation of the worst sort...but politically cunning! I challenge Obama's calling those who earn a measly $250K per year while shouldering all the responsibility of running a business or profession all the time, but I notice the main stream media keeps parroting what Obamanation and his cronies tells them to say.
The other adjustment in title is that, imo, the strike may be beginning ... but most small business owners and professionals have not yet really begun to strike. Most, imo, are still in shock and denial. I expect I am WAY ahead of the curve in that I already have begun my strike ... but I am really just warming up.
The upper middle class -- those with incomes from maybe $100k to $1M per year -- may have a hard time believing just how vicious the government has become but they are wising up and circumstances coming into play now will give anyone sleeping a solid kick in the gonads. The upper middle class is not stupid ... just patriotic and decent ... which has made them inclined to give the government and their fellow predatory citizens the benefit of the doubt. But, have no doubt, that will change....!
I'm beginning to make plans to shut down my factory which hires 30 people directly ... and probably another 10 or more indirectly. I have voluntarily provided health and dental insurance for my employees for more than a decade -- that will go, too, of course once I pull the plug. I don't want to make such plans, I enjoy adding value to the world, but I have ethics and ethics demands I NOT participate in Obamanation. I will forego profits, if necessary, to opt out. Unlike most of Obamanation's friends, I WOULDN'T have agreed to manufacture equipment to support the Nazi Death Camps for profit, either. Unlike most of Obamanation's supporters, I wouldn't have served Hitler at all. I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees.
Let Obamanation and the likes of Clo choke on it when this strike really gets going. Obamanation won't choke, of course, because he made a deal with Goldman Sachs et al. But Clo? I doubt Clo could live a month on her own productivity. I can live without them a lot better, I expect, than they can live without me, my jobs, my health care, and my food.

"The U.S. economy is crumbling. Businesses are collapsing in record numbers. Jobs have disappeared. Tax revenues are down dramatically. Coincidence?
Everything happening today under Obama resembles the storyline of Ayn Rand’s famous book, Atlas Shrugged, one of the most popular books of all time, selling over 7 million copies. Now, under President Obama, Atlas Shrugged has come to life. Rand prophesized a country dominated by socialists, Marxists and statists, where looters, free loaders and poverty promoters live off the productive class. To rationalize the fleecing of innovative business owners and job creators, the looter class demonized the wealthy, just as Obama and his socialist cabal are doing in real life today.
The central plot of Atlas Shrugged is that in response to being demonized, over-taxed, over-regulated, and punished for success, America’s business owners were disappearing — dropping off the grid, and refusing to work 16-hour days to support those unwilling to put in the same blood, sweat and tears. They were going on strike. Because of that the original proposed title of “Atlas Shrugged” was “The Strike.”
