king Ribit, Pope, and all others,

I just wanted to speak my opinion, and nothing else or ill will intended to anyone, regarding Tour.

I have been on the same board with Tour for many years now, and have had a couple of email exchanges with Tour.

I think I am correct in saying that TOUR is not a liberal. He has defended me numerous times from liberal attackers on the Wavx board and from a stalker.

Tour is a lot like the persona that Ribit exhibits. The one liners from Ribit keep me in stitches throughout the day and the supporting cast is great. A mixed bag of different views of opinions. Mine included and let me take just a moment to express my thanks for your gracious acceptance of me onto your board. You are a nice group of folks with a few things in common and as I can read, a lot of things you don't all see eye to eye on.

Please trust me when I say Tour doesn't need me to defend him/her. Tour is far wittier than I and very competent in a lot of things, a bright person to say the least.

From my observations over years Tour can be extremely funny, like Ribit. Very similarly quick witted.

Tour sometimes is prone to take a differing view. It is okay to disagree with it. However, he doesn't take kindly to shall we say disparaging differences or references.
It is my opinion only that while there may have been disparity between Tour, DGP, and sir Snapits, I think it could have been averted and actually avoided.

I am not suggesting that everyone should change their views , ideas, what they believe, and tip toe around one poster who is new to their group, no sirs.

I just think that the responses one to another were rather curt and nobody likes to be that recipient.
Yes, Tour doesn't agree about the demonization of Nuclear power plants. Well, neither do I. But it is okay if others feel differently. It doesn't make you wrong or me wrong. We just see it differently and from differing perspectives. Same with the great light bulb caper. Good for Texas in telling the FEDS to take their mandate and shove it on the mercury containing, new style bulbs that I don;t care for or like at all. In that state, you will be allowed to purchase WAT YOU LIKE, either or, and that is the way it should be! Consumer choice.

I personally could care less if YOU happen to like those new bulbs or not. I don't. But I do not care if you do. I just want the choice to buy what I like off the shelf at the stores I frequent.

I believe that two or three strong personalities became entangled and yes, Tour will sometimes take a position just to create a "discussion".

Did this disrupt the board? Probably.
Is it anyone's decision other than the moderator and owner to make the call as to who is not allowed to post here or not? No.
Is anyone forcing any poster to stay here? No.

I disagree with Tour's banning. That is my only statement. I understand completely the right of the board owner and moderator. It is their call and judgment. I simply think that you don't know Tour like I know Tour and interact with almost daily without the kind of disagreements experienced. I believe you have misjudged him, definitely mischaracterized him, and or his intentions.

Humbly submitted with NO ARGUMENTS and no hard feelings at all. This post is not meant or intended to be offensive to anyone.
