Did you hear the latest? There is now another fire in New Mexico. It is headed for Los Alamos. This is the second time for that nuclear plant. And the big cause? The brush that the EPA does not permit to be cleared way. It builds up and makes great fuel for forest fires.
dg, I wonder how electric goes into that plant. You would think the components would be underwater and not working by now. Seems like we're lucky, and/or dodging a bullet for the duration or for the time being.
