Michele Bachmann on Face the Nation, wants 0% tax on Capital Gains.
I think Pawlenty is on the same page.

Another republican claiming "no taxes" is the key to a healthy economy.... please.

With the manner the market is manipulated, I'd like a 50%+ tax on Capital Gains. clo

Clo,

The Democrats and the Republicans are United in Slime to the extent that they don't talk about the absurdity and psychology of CAPITAL GAINS TAXES.

Anyone with integrity and half a brain needs to ask why we are rewarding SPECULATION and paper games such as stock options with a 15% tax rate ... and why Obamanation keeps pushing this filthy nonsense about why his desire for more CONFISCATION is targeting ordinary income and folks who are really just upper middle class while excluding the speculators and banksters.

I'd love to see Obama -- and all the Democrats -- grilled endlessly on this question ... and about his connections to Goldman Sachs and how much he is being paid to represent those he obviously represents with such fidelity. How that used car salesman would squirm and attempt to change the subject!

A functional representative democracy requires open debates, ability to ask real questions, and freedom of the press. And we don't have any of those things any more .....

We only pretend.
