First, let's overlook the fact you probably haven't been getting complaints about puzzles.
Second, do you know what the main purpose of Jumbles, etc. in the newspaper are? Primarily so that old folk have something to make them think they're keeping their minds fresh and to provide a sense of accomplishment.
The problem with Jumbles is that you can usually bypass the word unscrambling and just guess the punny answer.
